PEDI’s Research & Development team has co-published a research paper on Construction materials in Q1 rank of international journal.
The results of the research team, including PEDI’s staff Dr. Nguyen Minh Hai, Dr. Phan Hoang Nam and Dr. Nguyen Van Huong, have been published in an Q1 rank of international journal in Construction Materials area. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding and accurately applying design formulas in standards when calculating practical structural issues. The research indicates that the advancement of material technology is so rapid that sometimes structural design standards cannot be updated in time. On the other hand, new tools like artificial intelligence still seem to not be officially recognized in construction design. Therefore, engineers need solid knowledge to effectively apply design formulas, and need to keep up with new technical advancements to produce more reasonable structural solutions.
