Dr. Phan Hoang Nam, the PEDI’s Technical Manager, has recently been honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). This acknowledgment was bestowed upon him for his co-authorship of an exceptional technical paper by the Seismic Engineering Technical Committee during the 2022 ASME Pressure Vessel and Piping (PVP) Conference.
The distinguished paper, titled “On the use of artificial neural network technique for seismic fragility analysis of a three-dimensional industrial frame,” showcases Dr. Nam’s contributions to the seismic engineering field. The recognition was officially presented at the Seismic Engineering Technical Committee meeting during the 2023 PVP Conference.
