The research and development team, in which PEDI participates, published a paper on next-generation permanent formwork in Engineering Failure Analysis (SCIE indexed, Q1 journal) this November.
Title of the paper: “Experimental and finite element analysis of permanent formwork impacts on flexural failures of reinforced concrete beams”
This paper summarizes findings obtained through experiments and analyses on precast permanent formwork, providing foundational insights for the development of next-generation permanent formwork.
Currently, traditional formwork made of wood, steel, or plastic is predominantly used at construction sites in Vietnam. However, the application of permanent formwork is expected in the future, aiming to improve labor efficiency, construction productivity, and the durability of structures.
