Next-generation material -Biocement derived from soybeans – researched and developed by PEDI member, has been reported nationwide
PEDI member, Dr. Hoang Phuong Tung, is leader of R&D Group to develop Biocement derived from soybeans. Research outcomes have been published in many international Journal and recently has been evaluated nationwide as a pioneer approach for Biocement in Vietnam.
Biocement is one of PEDI’s innovative solution for next generation materials, which would contribute to sustainable infrastructure development. This new material is expected to be useful especially in coastal structure as it can help to utilize the coastal sandy materials, contributing to reduce cost and time. Even the concept is currently under R&D, we are working together to transfer it into practical solution in near future.
